Disclaimer

1) 52 Climate Actions is built on three assumptions about climate change: 1) It’s man-made. 2) It’s already having serious consequences and these are going to get worse. 3) All of us, individually and together, can (and should) do something about it. Actually, we’ve also made a fourth assumption; that you agree with our first three. If you don’t, or if you want to explore the debates around the nature and causes of climate change, you might want to look elsewhere.

2) While we have done everything we can to ensure that the information on this page is correct at the time of writing (2019), climate change is a complex subject where almost everything is debated and science constantly advances. If we have made mistakes, please forgive us, and let us know using the 'Give Feedback' tab in the footer. If you don’t agree with everything we’ve said, that’s fine, and to be expected. To keep things short, we’ve generally avoided setting out complex debates and nuances, but you can assume that almost everything we’ve written is disputed by somebody, somewhere.

3) We strongly recommend you take professional advice before beginning actions that require financial or emotional investment, or which could effect your personal safety or wellbeing.

4) After the first 4 introductory actions (Actions 1-4), the remaining 48 actions are arranged in a more or less random order. They are NOT listed in order of priority or impact. The actions have all been chosen because they are potentially very powerful; the 'best' actions differ from person to person according to context.
